Being based out of Houston, Texas, we're about an hour's drive from Galveston's beach. Ok, yeah. It's not the greatest beach, but I'll take it! There's nothing better than fresh oysters during the season, so we always make a pit stop at Black Pearl Oyster Bar (plus, they have raw oysters during their happy hour for a great deal). Galveston is usually packed during the weekends, so it was a nice break going on a weekday and enjoying the peace and quiet.


It was a 'borrow from the boys' kind of day. Do you use your front shirt pockets? I do & it's kind of really convenient.


These guys were hungry.
